Hi
I've currently a gravel bike (vitus substance sword)
it's using fairly cheap OEM hubs (solon DH510) and a microshift sword (black 2x9) groupset
I'm looking into building myself a 2nd wheelset with road tires that i can (hopefully) drop in and out, i mostly ride city so road tires would be useful, but i also enjoy the odd gravel ride
The hubs i have purchased are ZTTO MTB hubs in a nice orange colour which utilise the older HG size freehub length (35mm) and i am just curious what things i need to consider when purchasing.
I'm basically going to purchase the same OEM rotors and casette but i'm not entirely sure on compatibility and/or if i'll have to shim components to get it where it simply is a drop/in/out change with next to no tweaking once done
Ideally i'm going for ryde andra 29's (they were reccomended for higher weight limits because i'm a beefy guy) and a conti - urban grand prix 35c tan wall tire.
so if anyone has any tips / reccomendations on what process i need (obviously lacing will be a huge PITA so i'm tempted to DIY it and then if that fails just take it to an LBS and have them true it)
i'm running tubes as a final mention, don't care for no squishy messy stuffs
Thanks for any and all contributions
