Need a new trimmer since my Ryobi 18v broke. What are your thoughts on this trimmer and deal? The battery is a FlexVolt 9Ah so 3Ah on 60v and free FlexVolt 6Ah so 2Ah oh 60v. I have a DeWalt 20v brushless pole saw and pole hedge trimmer so can use the batteries there as well.
2 tabs on the head broke off, can no longer attach the trimming head onto the motor body. I used to praise this trimmer when I first got it, but it’s been annoying to use with its vibrations and unwieldy ergonomics. The reel easy is also cumbersome. Now finally this.
What are your thoughts or recommendations? I want no fuss and something smooth and ultra light weight and high quality/luxury. Not sure that Ryobi offers something like this.
Should I try the warranty route? I never registered it and it’s 2.5 years old since purchase. Not sure if the 3 years counts if I didn’t register. A different head?
Regarding the smoothness, it feels like the Ryobi is going to cause nerve damage from the vibration after extended use, lol
