I need help with a prayer for my father going through a risky surgery tomorrow
Asalamu aleikum, everyone, my dear brothers and sisters in deen.
This message comes a bit desperately but I feel in my heart that I can 100% trust the umma with this duaa.
I am asking you to please make one duaa from the bottom of your heart so that my father can HEAL and live a LONGER, HEALTHIER life. He has an important surgery TOMORROW WITH A RISK OF DEATH OR HEAVY COMPLICATIONS DURING/AFTERWARDS, and I have been struggling to process this.
Although we pray constantly that Allah protects my dad (before, during and after the surgery), it isn't easy to process at all and I often feel very sad, like something has already happened or soon will. We are trying to think positively but we are worried and I am trying not to show my mom (whose health is fragile) and sibling I am afraid of the worst happening but I am terrified.
My father had a very difficult life so far but ALWAYS helped everyone around him, always did, the way Allah asked us to. I want to repay him in this dunya by making HIS life easier, for many years. I just graduated, I just started looking for a job, I am JUST beginning to build a life that can help his and my mom's.
Please, make one duaa so I can keep him by my side for more years, more time. It's all I'm asking.
