I booked my wedding lehanga with her last year,the sweet words during booking completely changed once payment was made. Got months of silence, then 1 sample pic with the poorest quality I’ve ever seen. I asked for refund because I couldn’t take risk with my wedding lehnga , but was told it’s “ non- refundable”.
A lot happened after that… calls, texts,stress. In the end, I chose my peace over my deposit.I let it go and chose a new designer instead. Lost ₹50K + had to restart with new designer weeks before wedding.
Please get everything in writing — exact design,quality of work,timeline and refund policy before paying her anything. Ask for progress photos at fixed stages. Don’t rely on verbal promises and don’t fall into the trap of sweet words .
