Hi everyone! Joined summer 2025 to the HC offering. I majored in IIRR during college but got an offer for HC if I did some training in Oracle, so I agreed (despite not feeling strongly abt consultancy). The first project I got staffed to (which I'm currently still assigned to and will probably remain as such for the next year or so) ended up having nothing to do w Oracle HCM lol and more to do w project management. I did a lot of project management-esque things during college for local governments/NGOs, but most of the methodologies were pretty specific to public policy and grant writing. I'm thinking of doing CAPM and certs for other methodologies like Scrum in the next year or so bc I think I actually enjoy PM in its broader sense lol so I'd like to get more experience n proof of skill (even if I leave Deloitte eventually rip). I wanted to hear some opinions on this, though! If anyone's experienced smthg similar or has recommendations/thoughts/tips/whatever, I welcome it all!

Note: I do intend to breach the topic w my coach and a senior consultant at my office who does PM and was assigned to me as a "buddy" of sorts, but I'm trying to build a case (to myself I guess) before.
