So I recently received this vitrified diamond stone and I’ve sharpened on it a few times now, and every time I sharpen I spray water but instantly it dissolves into the stone.

I’ve tried soaking before hand aswell but as soon as I remove it from the water it absorbs all the water and I hate dry grinding on stones. Does anyone know exactly how to use vitrified diamond stones because I don’t think water is the trick.?!
