CONTEXT:

After my 10th, I wrote a screening test and was among the top 15 students, which made me eligible for a scholarship. But due to family reasons, I couldn’t join Brilliant at that time. Now I’ve just completed my 12th (state syllabus), and I’m expecting almost full marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Now, I genuinely wanted to take a drop and prepare for jee. But recently njan brilliantil padicha oralod (who scored around 95 percentile in jee mains ) ithine patti choich pakshe pullikari parajath "Njan kashtapett padichittum enikk kittiyilla .Heavy competition aan.Pinee avide padikana piller 6 th thott prepare cheyand.Alochichitt drop edutha mathi allenkil 1 year full waste avum angane okke . That honestly made me doubt myself.(Veetil valya paisa onnum illa.Middle class aan,my sibiling is still studying )

Seniors, based on my situation, is taking a drop realistic? Or should I move on?(I scored around 99.4% in +1, if that matters.)

I’d really appreciate honest advice.
