Hi seeking advice - I’m thinking about getting the endurance CF7 - I’m 5’9 / male / 30-31” inseam and I’m on the border of fitting a small or medium canyon bike per their size guide. Anyone also similar dimensions as me and have an opinion between small/medium?
My friends and I are planning a 1 night bikepacking trip from Los Gatos to New Brighton State Beach and back, wondering what people think:
Day 1
- up Alma Bridge > old sc hwy > summit rd > highland way
- down aptos creek fire rd
- 40 miles, 4K feet gain
Day 2
- up soquel San Jose
- summit rd
- down old sc hwy / alma bridge
- 30 miles, 2k ft gain
I’m wondering how safe a route this seems to people? I’ve heard mixed things about going up Soquel San Jose. We have varying levels of fitness, age, and experience so don’t want to create too long of a trip and want everyone to have fun.
