I was driving back up to NOVA from North Carolina sunday night Once the ez pass lane exits started appearing, I would take them to get on the separate road that I think alternates directions (with all the red barriers and stuff). This was probably around 12 at night, I notice a car coming towards me head on in the same lane, and I barely manage to change to the left lane before we get into a head on collision at 80mph. I'm a little unnerved at that point so I stay in the right lane and slow down, seeing another car pass me. Later on there were more cars going the 'right' way following behind me and I could verify that the direction I was going in way right (besides the fact that I was there at all) because of the green arrows on the screens that you see sometimes. I'm just wondering how something like this happens; how could they have gotten on if they block off stuff? I don't really know how these lanes work, I just know that I have the pass and it's fun to go on sometimes.
