For starters, I have never been satisfied with my hair or with the way it looks, I don't like the style (although this one is acceptable till I find something I like), I don't like that it's frizzy, rough and how I can't style it (or at least don't know HOW to style it).
I go to the barber every 2-3 months and I just tell him to keep the same shape but with less volume for the lack of a better style.
Products and routine: I use a conditioner (Herbal Essence) every other day, shampoo every 1-2 weeks, hair mask every 1-2 weeks, leave-in conditioner whenever I got something going, and I dry with soft pats on the head with a microfiber towel and let the rest air dry.
I'm not claiming that I know what I'm doing, this is just the result of looking through the internet and asking ChatGPT for advice.
What I'm here for is I want someone to help me pick something that will look good with my face shape and hair type/texture. I don't the good old taper fade with curls on top (tried that many times and I look like a dork), I don't want anything with an extreme fade or any of the teen stuff like mullet and whatnot.
All I want is a simple, non-fancy, classic (a good example for classic would be a middle part, I know it wouldn't work with my hair but that's only an example), and good looking hair style that would suit me.
I would've buzzed (done it many times) it and called it a day had I not had this stupid side receding hairline.
