Psychological Abuse VAWC

Hi, anyone here na nakaexperience about filing a VAWC case through IAS?

I’m planning to file one against my ex-fiancé for psychological abuse. The whole relationship really messed me up mentally to the point na I ended up being diagnosed with PTSD and depression. What honestly hurts more is barely a month after the breakup, he’s already about to marry the third party involved during our relationship.

I just wanna ask how the process was for you guys and ano yung mga dapat ko iexpect emotionally and legally. Was it worth pursuing? How stressful was it?

Any advice or experiences would really help. Thank you.

Lasik / SMILE

Just had my screening at American Eye Center and I’m eligible for both LASIK and SMILE.

My prescription is around -3.00.

Here’s how it was explained to me:

LASIK:
-Has a corneal flap
-Faster visual recovery (clear vision almost immediately)
-Easier to enhance/retouch in the future
More affordable

SMILE:
-No flap (just a small incision)
-Slower visual recovery (can be hazy at first)
-Supposedly preserves more corneal strength

My surgeon said dryness and halos are basically the same for both.

From what I’ve read though:
Studies show visual outcomes are very similar long-term
SMILE may have slightly less dry eye early on, but both normalize over time
SMILE recovery is generally slower at the start

So now I’m confused — if outcomes are similar, is there any real reason to choose one over the other?

For those who’ve done either:
• Any regrets?
• How was your recovery (especially night vision, halos, dryness)?
• Would you choose the same procedure again?

Problem/Goal:

Context: 7 years kami, engaged for 2. I really thought siya na yung endgame ko.

Nakipag-break siya recently kasi “stressed sa work” daw and needed space. Kahit ang daming tanong sa isip ko, I tried to understand and respect it.

Pero after that, nalaman ko na may iba na pala.

And now, barely a month after our breakup, ipapamulong na sila.

Problem: Honestly, I feel so lost. Hindi ko alam anong gagawin ko or paano magsimula ulit. Parang ang dali lang sa kanya i-let go yung 7 years namin, habang ako nandito pa rin, trying to make sense of everything.

Ang daming tanong—totoo ba yung pinagsamahan namin? Kailan pa siya naka-move on? May mali ba sakin?

Previous Attempts: Hindi ko na alam. I just feel really lost right now.
