I truly do not feel like retyping the whole story so i will copy and paste the text sent to a friend. for context i wasn't dating him but we weren't nothing. and we had plans on saturday and he had fucked up bad a week before so i was like i need a week to cool off i'll talk to you friday. I fully understand that we were not dating i am not mad about him hooking up with someone else in that week. he lied to my face. here is more of what happened: this guy showed up with a bunch of hickeys after a week long break and i chose to understand that i said i need a minute and understand that he is free to go do whatever. and i didn't say anything i treated him the same and i didn't ask, and the words that came out of his mouth were "i need you to know it wasn't my ex" he said it was some random girl from a few days ago. we get back to my friends place cause we were out with a couple friends and i see a text from another close friend of mine telling me that he was with his ex earlier that day. and i ask him if he was with her and if the hickeys that i chose to ignore were from her and he got quite. I didnt say anything i didnt ask and he still chose to lie to me, i chose to ignore it because i wanted to try to see the good person in him i really thought he cared. i covered the hickeys up with makeup for him, i didn't ask about it at all and he still chose to lie about it. i wouldn't have cared that it was his ex we weren't dating i don't care who it was he lied to me on his own terms and thought that was ok. and then my friend had to explain why i was mad and that he fucked yo by lying to my face after I DIDNT ASK. i just don't understand why, i wasn't treating him differently i wasn't grilling him about it, i ignored it and covered it up and he chose to bring it up and lie.
