Does anyone have this laptop model and have used it for a good amount of time? I'd like to hear about their experience, as I'm considering buying it
I need it for programming and studying as a computer science student, and for gaming. (Not heavy gaming)
I was torn between it and the asus v16 , which had the same graphics card rtx 5050 and RAM but with 1TB of storage.
I’m a Computer Science student and my use will mainly be coding, web browsing, gaming (not heavy gaming), and possibly AI/graphic design later. So I’m thinking long-term too. (I probably won't be changing my laptop for the next 4 or 5 years.)
I’m stuck because
V16 (weighs 1.95 kg): comes with 1TB SSD (more comfortable for storage)
A16 (weighs 2.20 kg): comes with 512GB SSD (and a better battery), and I’m unsure if it will be enough long-term
Price-wise, the A16 is only slightly more expensive in my region
So
Is 512GB enough for CS + coding + (2 or 3 medium-sized games)+ future AI/creative work, or will I need an upgrade soon? (I might be able to upgrade after two years, so will 512 gb be enough for now?)
Is the A16 worth it despite lower storage, or is the V16 the more balanced choice overall?
