i have no idea what the hell is going on

on fanduel poker people literally play like that they have play money in front of them. there are multiple dudes just shoveling their money into the middle and punting off with pocket 7s on a dry board that has overcards

i'm serious. i'm convinced none of this is real

i'm 2273 hands deep, around 1200 played at 10nl and 1000 played at 50nl. i'm up $408.51 and my win rate is currently at 50 bbs per 100

honestly, i'm moving up to $1/$2 at this point. i'm convinced that there'll be just as many, if not more, guys punting off their stacks at 1/2 since that's what live casinos offer. so these guys probably feel right at home to be punting off online as well

i don't know if it's the site i'm playing on or what. i honestly wonder how the players are on poker stars international cause honestly the games on fanduel are incredibly soft and recreational

folds to me. i open with 4c3c for 3BBs

V raises me to 5BBs, BB folds. i call

next, i completely smashed the flop: Kc5c8c

pot has 11 BBs

i'm thinking "god damn. i just got a sweet dose of luck, awesome"

so at this point, obviously i'm ready to bet. but then.. V bets into me... and it's a pot sized bet (11 BBs). i'm thinking "MOOOONNNEEEEEEY"

i was worried he also had a club. and since i'm relying on just a little flush, i'd highly prefer to charge him incredibly high if he wants to go to the turn. so i raised him to 32 BBs

what did he do... he doesn't just call it, he raises me!!

???

this is what i mean! i'm running into these types of players every single day! they are incredibly recreational and just punt off money without a care in the world.. like they're pulling a slot machine lol..

so instead of calling, he raises it up to 53 BBs

okay, the pot is getting large and out of control at this point. i have him covered and he's got 86BBs behind

so what did i do?

i shoveled in more money, raised it up to 154 BBs (LMAO)

at this point i am MORE than satisfied if he decides to just let it go and walk away. i'd prefer that actually

but no, he didn't let it go. instead, he calls me which puts him all in

so at this point the pot is 290 BBs on the flop, he's all in

he had 3.8% equity going in. the turn and river came out, hit none of his outs, and i scooped up a 290BB pot
