Do I need a doctor referral to a cardiologist if I already have a bad ECG?

Trying to find info on this but finding conflicting things. Basically I need to get a cardiologist to do an EKG on me for medication purposes. My GP did a ECG and said there was nothing abnormal on it even though it indicated I could have an infarction and I have a bundle branch block in my heart (29m btw) that worried my and worried my psychiatrist too who wants a second opinion from a cardiologist. I am prepared to go private on it but seems like I need a GO referral which will take even more time, and they want to charge me for a consultation and another ECG which is the guts on 100 quid. Wondering if I can skip that and just go to the cardiologist with my ECG I already have.
