I’m on tray 18 out of 39 (😣), and wear each set for 14 days. My provider gives me 6 trays at a time and I come in to be checked every 12 weeks. So far, those appointments have been scheduled on the day I’m due to switch to my next tray. They have me out that new tray in at the office and look to see how I’m tracking/how it fits.
Now, the problem. I had an appointment scheduled this coming Wednesday. I realized on Friday that it’s the same day at a field trip I’m chaperoning and I can’t make it. I called the office and explained to them, and they asked if I could come in 5/12 instead. I told them I could, but I need to come pick up my new trays on this Monday or Tuesday so I can change to my next tray on Wednesday. The receptionist said she didn’t know if they could give them to me before an appointment and she said she’d check and call me back later. Well, she never did. 1) I’m not being unreasonable in wanting to demand my next set of trays so I can stay on track, right? 12 days of wearing time is long enough, I don’t want to wear them an extra week! And 2) Would you just go to the office on Monday and ask for my trays? Or call back?
