19f, should I consider civil , mechanical and MME as good career choices?

Hello , i'll be getting civil , MME mech, in nit dgp this year . But I had a few questions ...

Do these branches have good placements ?

Since a lot of them involve on-site jobs, are women usually hired by core companies?

How difficult is it to shift to software roles ?

Will these branches lead to a good/stable career prospects?

Requesting the seniors to please help out 🙏

19F, looking for suggestion regarding joining Mining in NIT K and career prospects for women in this field .

Hello , I'm a dropper, I'm going to be joining college this year . My rank is 45k and I'm getting mining in nit surathkal . While the college is awesome, can someone tell me, is it worth joining Mining branch, especially in terms of job, placement and career growth? Do most companies hire woman , given that a lot of the jobs are on site ? My other options are MECHANICAL in NIT durgapur or ece cse in tier 2 iiits.

I want to know if it is a good career for girls as I wanna get a job experience for atleast 1 or 2 years.(I'm gonna prepare for CAT and try for MBA after)

Do the girls in mining usually get placed if they have the skills and proper cgpa?

Also, can mining students sit for tech placements ? Like , do they get time and opportunities to work on their coding, dsa skills along with the core curriculum?

I'll be very grateful if someone could give me their opinions and suggestions regarding this . Looking forward to your help, dear seniors 🙏
