i am currently studying accountancy-taxation in highschool( hogeschool) and i ask myself are there more lucrative paying ways for an accountant besides doing the basic route of becoming a partner somewhere. I did some research on the freelance rate for itaa certified accountant and it ranges from 45-65 is this trully the average rate for a certified accountant. And how difficult is it to start your own accounting firm or take an other accounting firm over. Could you also become a CFO after working 3 years in bigfour or is this rare. i look forward for your opionions thank you
