Finally bit the bullet after all these years and upgraded from Windows 10 to 11 but now I have a very weird issue happening.
I have a monitor and a TV connected to my PC. The Monitor runs 1080p 144hz and the TV runs 4K at 60hz. Monitor is display port and TV is HDMI. The monitor is obviously set as my main.
Now I never had any issues on windows 10 and this set up worked flawlessly. Now I'm on windows 11 the TV isn't seen as a second screen and I can't get it to connect.
Now to make things even stranger, if I put the HDMI connection for the TV through a displayport adapter into the graphics card then it shows up and works! Although the adapter will not allow it to go up to 4K.
I've reinstalled the nvidia drivers for my GPU and have no luck. Also tried the bog standard check of device manager, ensuring display is set to extend etc.
Has anyone run into this problem before or have any suggestions on how to fix it?
