Hi everybody! I’ve been a quiet lurker for some time now, but I’m now looking for some info since I’m very out of my element. Where do you, if you use them, find decent patterns for these gen 3 girls? Most everything I find is gen 1 which I feel confident I can modify to fit some of the more slender dolls.

I’m not really a MH person, but my youngest sibling is! They want to start making clothes and customizing their dolls, I have some experience as I’m a BJD collector and bought these so I can help them as they start their customizing journey. I’ve got some experience drafting patterns for 1/4 scale, so I can probably figure it out but I sew off vibes and my sibling I thought would benefit off something a bit more thought out.

I tagged this as supplies as I’m curious where people are getting hair for rerooting these days, and if there’s any words of advice y’all might have for customizing these. I have a lot of face up experience but beyond that I’ve never worked on something so small!

I had basically written off getting any lip piercings due to issues with my bottom teeth, but in recent years I was introduced to the idea of a vertical labret the vertical snake bites. Im very interested in the snake bites but I might be over thinking it that they wouldn’t suit me?

That being said, I’m also trying to decide what I want to do with my ears. I know I want another set of lobe piercings to make it easier to wear heirloom jewelry I can’t alter but I also want more like a helix perhaps. Most people with piercings in my life aren’t super versed so their best suggestion is an industrial which I’m not very sold on.
