Hi all - would really appreciate some advice.
I need to repaint our hallway. It’s a Victorian property and the hall has lining paper throughout, which is pretty old and been repainted over a couple of times already.
It’s plastered with lining paper on top.
The plaster behind has “blown” in several places and so it’s not an option to strip the lining paper to re-apply or paint on the plaster - it would need to be redone which I can’t do my self and we can’t afford.
It also doesn’t help that we want to paint over the dark paint with a lighter colour, so will need a few coats.
I want to avoid peeling / bubbling or anything else as much as possible.
Does anyone have recommendations for how best to tackle this?
Id thought Zinsser Gardz was the best option, but now not so sure.
Any ideas or help very welcome!
Thanks
