Hello, I opened an account for the first time and wanted to invest in the market. I am surprised that it takes so incredibly long to fund my account with a normal ACH. It currently says 1-5 days to confirm the bank link, and another 1-3 days to fund the account.
I went ahead and initiated a bank wire, but my bank didnt give me the option to input my individual fidelity account and so I only put the general Fidelity accounts like Jp Morgan Chase and all of that information under the bank wire section.
It has been one hour already and the funds have not arrived, now I am getting nervous and afraid i sent it into the void. The stock I want to buy is moving up fast.
Anyone know how long these bank wires take, and if I didn't put my individual fidelity account in the information, what happens next? Thanks.
