Hi everyone, I launched my first app a few days ago. It’s a niche app for maritime crew members that helps track income and expenses.

It’s designed specifically around contract-based work schedules rather than a traditional yearly calendar, since that’s how most seafarers work.

Regarding monetization, the app is currently free to download and allows users to test almost all of its features.

You can use it normally for about a month, and after that, it prompts you to upgrade to a one-time paid PRO version.

As a crew member myself, I know this is something that genuinely helps in day-to-day life, and I believe it has strong potential even if the niche is relatively small.

I’d really appreciate your feedback on how the app currently presents on the App Store — especially in terms of visual design and whether it comes across as trustworthy and well-built.

I’d also love some advice on the best strategies to drive traffic and get the app in front of the right audience.

Ciao, ho da poco acquistato una Fuji (prima camera in assoluto) e piano piano sto imparando a capirne i settaggi. Una cosa che mi disturba non poco e avere l impressione di fare fotografie migliori con il telefono o che certe volte io stesso non riesca a riconoscere le foto che ho scattato da telefono da quelle scattate con camera. In ogni caso, queste (esclusa la 1-8 che sono da telefono) sono alcune foto del mio ultimo viaggio ad Atene.

Avete pareri e consigli su come migliorare?

Ho il mio fondo di emergenza (circa 15K) su Revolut al 2% lordo, comodo, senza infamia e senza lode. Adesso con questi nuovi tassi non ha molto senso tenere cifre più alte su Revolut, a meno di voler privilegiare solo la comodità.
