I've been thinking about this for maybe a year or so―basically since I read The Spirit Bares Its Teeth―but I have no clue how to tell my mum and dad. I've tried to tell my mum―attempting to explain gender dysphoria―and she basically just dismissed me, saying that every girl feels that way. My mum is supportive of LGB rights, but I'm still not sure how she feels about trans/nonbinary people. My dad is supportive of anything, but I'm still not sure how to tell them. Any advice?
