I was diagnosed with scalp psoriasis and inverse psoriasis 6 weeks ago. I had a follow up with my dermatologist today who said I now have an infection with my inverse psoriasis and candida. It’s so painful. He started me on a 2 week course of a medication then to start another one used for psoriasis in 2 weeks after my blood test comes back. He also said you have to take folic acid with it. Has anyone had this medication or inverse psoriasis and managed to beat the infection.
