Skin maintenance

Skin maintenance

So the situation:

- I have never struggled with a¢ne.

- I have mixed skin with it being oily at my T zone although it’s less oily now that I have had children.

- I want to start incorporating a routine that takes care of my face for the long run. That prevents wrinkles.

- Im using Trader Joes mineral sunscreen that I purchased in a panic because the La Roche Posay chemical sunscreen I used burned my eyes. (Im going to assume most chemical sunscreens will probably burn my eyes).

My questions are:
- What sunscreen do you recommend? Do you know of 1 that is chemical and doesn’t burn your eyes? Or do you have suggestions for a (maybe tinted) mineral sunscreen that wont leave a white cast (my skin is brown)?

- What other products do you recommend for me to start incorporating that could help my skin look more even, reduce redness, and look plump & hydrated (NOT OILY)?

- what are we doing about under eyes? Can I use a whole face product that also serves my under eyes? Or do you recommend a product that is only dedicated to under eyes? Eye creams have seem so unnecessary to me but I was also a young adult so I didn’t need to worry about it then lol, im 24 for reference.

I thought about retinol but I don’t know if there’s something better now. When I had my first baby 2 years ago I just decided skin care wasn’t a priority for the time being so I have been out of the know for a while about the products out there.

I want to start slow and keep it really simple. Create a quick and effective routine that is easy to be consistent with. Thank you!!
