Which Toner Should I Try Next?.. help me pick my next HG toner (Rate 1-6)

I have normal to combination skin and I’m currently revamping my skincare routine...trying to find products that suit my skin better.

Up until now, I’ve been using the Cosrx Propolis Toner, and it worked amazingly well for me. But I’m almost out, and I want to explore something new from a different brand.

I’ve shortlisted a few popular toners from well-known brands, and I’d love some help deciding.

If you have normal to combination skin (or similar), could you please rank these toners from 1 to 6 based on your personal experience? Also, any quick pros/cons would be really helpful!

Thanks in advance :)

How can I improve my skin?

my current routine is wash morning and night with a sensitive face wash (right now I am using a nivea sensitive wash, from their men's range not sure if that's different from the women's one but mentioning just in case), then use a toner (No7 Cleansing Toning Water), then apply moisturiser (Aveeno Oat Gel).

Before leaving the house I'll apply a SPF 50 some days.

And at night before bed I have been trying a Skin + Me treatment of

  • Azelaic Acid 12%
  • Clindamycin 1%
  • Niacinamide 4%

I've added photos of my skin (wearing no make-up but after skincare) on various days, you can see the redness and bumpiness especially on my cheeks and forehead. My skin is very sensitive and most everything stings a little bit but this might be normal for sensitive skin? I wouldn't say my skin is extremely dry but def on the dry side. I also make an effort to drink a lot so I'm not dehydrated.

I'd overall just like to improve my skin, have it be smooth and all even. If possible I'd like to get rid of the redness that flares up but not sure if that is achievable for my skin :')

Anyway any advice or routine/product suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Red nose help

My nose has been like this for as long as I can remember, sometimes most of the spots go away and come back for a week or two but it’s never been clear for the past few years. It’s constantly red and it ruins my confidence. I’ve tried no products and washing with just water, and tried salicylic moisturiser, but now I’m just using face wash and Simple moisturiser. Please help

SA Cleanser recs?

I’ve heard good things about the CeraVe SA cleanser but I honestly haven’t had good luck with their products in the past. Does anyone know anything about the Cetaphil SA cleanser? or are they both relatively similar? I also started tretinoin in January and my derm suggested I use an SA cleanser at least 1x a week. Any help is appreciated

Face moisturizer that doesn’t burn eyes?

im looking for face lotion that doesn’t burn my eyes. ive tried two kinds and the both burn. I always thought that putting lotion on your face just makes your eyes burn until one day. I googled it and it said it shouldn’t, so I switched to a different lotion and my eyes still burn. The burning isn’t instant. It’s usually around an hour after I put it on, and then it burns for the rest of the day. Does anyone else have any experience with this? if so what lotion can I use that won’t burn? these pictures are the two lotions that I’ve tried, both making my eyes burn. I started with the Aveeno because that’s all we had but then I went out and bought some more expensive stuff hoping it would work.

Tret and Oily Skin? I love my oily skin and I want to keep it

Hello everyone again!

Following my previous post about buying tretinoin, thank you for your comments, I found several websites to order it from with to your recommendations. Thanks again!

So now, let's get down to the nitty-gritty. I know l have oily and sensitive skin. I'm aware of the precautions I need to take.

However, I've read several times that tretinoin or retinol can apparently change your skin type?

A lot of people complain about oily skin, but I, on the contrary, think it's a blessing. I love my oily skin. Oily, thick skin generally ages better and develops fewer wrinkles as you get older. Sebum is a good thing, you know

And I'm a little "afraid" that tretinoin will thin my skin and make it dry and oilier. I don't want to make my skin worse.

Will my skin stay thick and oily in the long run, even while on tret?

What's your take on this?

Thanks in advance! You're a huge help it

Do you still do your night skincare routine if you’re gonna leave the products on face for just a few hours?

I always take a shower at late night, do my night skincare routine and sleep right after. I know many people take a shower around 6\\\~8pm and actually go to bed after midnight, but that’s not the case for me. Sometimes i go to bed like 2am and wake up at 8am. So, basically those night routine products are on my face for less than 6 hours. I wonder if they’re gonna work at all. I always use less skincare products in the day because my face is oily and go for ‘full options’ in the night, but as i’ve said, i only sleep 5-7 hours.

Under eye upper cheek flare ups

I've been getting these small patches under my eyes for years. Never questioned it as they come and go. Almost like my lower eyelid/tear area swells a bit and gets red. I've noticed certain beers or high stress can bring them on. Anyone else experience these little patches on their cheeks? No pain.

Adapalene

Hi guys, how long does it usually take to see any positive improvements with Panoxyl Adapalene 0.1%?

I’ve been using it once in every two nights. I can’t use it everyday as it irritates my skin. Also I mainly use it for blackheads and few comodones. Also for anti aging.

Thanks
