Me and friend are teenagers and we went to a government park to play volleyball and we do so every other day , we were peacefully playing today for more then an hour and whenever a ball slid away we RAN to get it before it got near anyone. So anyways me and my friend had just finished playing and my friend decided to sit on a swing to chill for awhile before we leave, while we were talking this man who lowkey looked like a police officer approached us and practically scolded us saying that she shouldn't sit on the swing because she is slightly tall and in his words big (fat) and mind you my friend is skinner then some of these damn kids and if it breaks from her weight, the swing was poorly maintained to begin with Anyway he started scolding us saying that we cant play FOOTBALL here , I told him we didn't play football and we play volleyball so he told that any ball isn't allowed inside. My friend and I didn't argue since this man looked like an police officer so we left, dejected and pissed . We went home and looked at the rules to check what we broke , the rules stated very vaguely that no games or activities were allowed in the park and followed it with adults cant sit on children's toys. We were accepting the outcome but we recalled there beinh people our age playing badminton beside us , some kids playing ball, some running around outside the playground and the second we left so did the man. Obviously we are not going to go to the park henceforth but we do feel like the rules were rather vague , it's a public park and teenagers should be able to play instead of being couped up at home. I know I am being extremely petty about this but we did get scolded and lost a space to play volleyball in. The kids were mostly in the playground and we were in the open field playing peacefully, I don't know if someone reported us or something but I am really upset by this and felt the need to rant about it. Any opinions would be appreciated honestly, gotta know if I genuinely need to chill or question whoever that was. Now reading this I'm lowkey laughing at my rant but lolol I need to get it off my head
