light white oak hardwood prefinished timeless or not?

We are redoing all of our floors and want to go with white oak hardwood. The prefinished in store seem very white washed in color (which I do like) but im not sure is a timeless look. What type of prefinished light colored floors are timeless? I attached a picture of a sample we brought home and liked, but feel it may be too trendy

appreciate any feedback

Need help to make a bedroom smaller

Need advice on Room labeled bedroom 3

We Added an addition which made this kids bedroom too big. We want to add some space to the wic 3 and the new bathroom (which is connected to the master bedroom)

I was thinking of cutting the top part of this bedroom in half, but it leaves an odd space before the walls that separate the 2 spaces

is this the only way to do this?

The room labeled LAUNDRY is not going to be the laundry room The wic highlighted is actually going to be a laundry room

we are hoping someone has a better idea of new laundry entry location (the room labeled wic off master bedroom)

Could we have a door to the highlighted bathroom also have an entrance to laundry in the next room? Or a hallway off that bathroom door that leads to laundry?

we can also move that new laundry wall out to be the same width as the bathroom next to it

any ideas helpful! We need to make this decision soon 😊

After alot of feedback about having the only entrance to our new laundry room off our master bedroom, we are hoping someone has a better idea of laundry entry location

Could we have a door to the highlighted bathroom also have an entrance to laundry in the next room? (where it says wic we are putting laundry) maybe a hallway off that bathroom door that leads to laundry?

I posted earlier today about a house renovation we are doing. We are considering putting our laundry room where the yellow highlight is. It would then be in our master bedroom. We could make a hallway, but then it would be a very long hallway. (2nd pic shows how hallway is now, door at end is master bedroom door)

we are also thinking of making the pink area our closet but we would have this awkward walkway to nowhere

the thought behind changing laundry location to an outside wall is easier for the dryer vent

any suggestions welcome!

We are renovating and adding a new bath and closet to our bedroom. it leaves our current master bathroom empty. Is a bad move for resale? the only entrance would be in our bedroom

just a few added notes

we are in a neighborhood of mostly young families (even though our kids are almost out of the house)

and all bedrooms are on the second floor and this would be the only laundry room

Just talking siding (we have other changes we are making to design) do you have that little triangle in the roof peak white or just do regular siding up to the top (light gray)

Weve been looking for a prefinished light white oak hardwood. We want it to be timeless, no knots and want to stay around 3“ wide. It seems like most people get floors finished to their color, has anyone found the perfect light oak and had it installed?

Are there brands to stay away from?
