My dermatologist recommended me 5mg oral minoxidil+ biotin , amino acids and vitamin tablets , I took them for about 5 months and it worked really well , I had major improvements in density . when I visited my doctor after 5 months , he acknowledged and was impressed by the improvement, However he then changed my medications even though I didn't suffer through any side effects , he told me to discontinue oral 5 mg minoxidil and start 10% TOPICAL with 0.5 mg oral DUTESTERIDE for 1 month and those regular vitamin tablets.

I am worried of the abrupt shift from oral 5 mg to 10% topical minoxidil, also I am worried about dutesteride even though he told me to take it just for 1 month .
