I’ve seen maybe 3 dead cockroaches in the past year, mostly in the pantry/kitchen area (though I just moved, so I have no idea how long they had been there). I honestly wasn’t too concerned because they were ALWAYS dead.
Then I cleaned out the garage recently and found several more dead ones but not even whole roaches, mostly weird pieces/exoskeleton-looking backs 😭 Again though, never saw a live one.
Well yesterday I opened my utensil drawer while cooking and a HUGE one scurried so fast I literally screamed, slammed the drawer shut, and immediately emptied the whole cabinet lol. First live one I’ve ever seen and I am officially creeped out.
I bought Advion Cockroach Gel Bait and put small dots:
in pantry corners, cabinets, under sink, behind fridge
and under stove
Anything else you’d recommend for the kitchen area?
My bigger question is the garage. I feel like with the garage door they can probably get in no matter what, so how do you actually tackle that area? Should I still put Advion dots along the walls/perimeter or is there a better approach for garages?
Any advice appreciated because I’m grossed out and dramatic bc now every time I open a drawer in my kitchen, I think a cockroach is going to attack me 🤣🤣🤣 also I’m out of Texas so not sure if that changes anything.
