No matter where I look I always get some complicated answer but no real clear instruction, I’ve drawn my whole life, but I’m only now trying to genuinely improve my skill and draw things that make more anatomical and realistic sense. Can someone give me a clear guideline of exercises to do when trying to improve my ability of drawing the human body and human faces, I’ve followed many tutorials and nothing sticks I just need a clear way to practice and get it in my muscle memory. My current style is my preferred way of drawing people but I’d like the characters to be less cartoony in proportion and look more like traditional character designs with stylistic aspects I guess. Can anyone help with exercises / ways to help my brain register learning?
