Are you a fan of "The Fugitive (1993)"?

Are you a fan of "The Fugitive (1993)"?

Harrison Ford - "I didn't kill my wife."

Tommy Lee Jones - "I don't care."

I watched this movie on DVD and now on 4K many many times and I adore this movie. I think the story is very interesting and very intense.

What I like about this movie is the hero is just an everyday guy. He is just a doctor, he has no fighting skills at all. He has to run away from what he did not do and has to prove the evidence and find out the real murderer. The twist at the end of the movie that surprised me when it reveals the real villain who set up the crime scene. It's one of my favourite 90's action thriller movies.

Both lead actors were great especially Tommy Lee Jones as U.S. marshal "Sam Gerard". I saw Jones in the similar role in many movies after this one but I still think The Fugitive is his best movie. He won the oscar for this role. I never have a chance to go to Chicago but I like the cinematography in this movie to show the beautiful side of Chicago.

I just saw "The Equalizer (2014)". It's one of my favourite action thriller movies of the 2010's.

I watched this movie in the theatre back in 2014. At that time I was 14 and so hyped about one man army revenge movies just like Taken or Man On Fire. I've been a fan of Denzel for a long time.

I think he is one of the best Hollywood actors. His acting is top notch. I went to see this movie just once and loved it so much but I can't remember the details of the movie. Yesterday I rewatched it again for the second time and I still like this movie. The first half of the movie is slow burn a bit but I think it's a good way to start and build up characters and tension before the story goes to action.

The main story is very simple but I like it a lot when the story is not confusing or complicated and you can focus on it. Denzel in this movie is badass as always. He is basically a killing machine with no mercy just like his character in Man On Fire and The Book Of Eli. His character is cold blooded. He always gives a chance to bad guys to quit but they won't so he has to kill them. He doesn't use guns much. He likes to pick up objects in the room used as a weapon.

I prefer him to John Wick, both John Wick and The Equalizer movies came out in the same year but for me EQ is much better in the storytelling and action. The villain is great too. I really like the villain in this movie. He is very smart and always has plans to deal with Denzel.

I'm going to "Kill Bill". Are you a fan of both Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movies?

I've got Kill Bill Vol. 1&2 on 4K with slipcovers from my sister. She bought it when she went to the USA. She is a big fan of both Kill Bill films. My first Quentin Tarantino movie that I watched is Pulp Fiction but I prefer Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs. I think Uma Thurman is the right choice to cast and play as The Bride. She is awesome and looks so great with that outfit and sword. The soundtrack is fucking awesome too. I like both Kill Bill films equally. The first movie is heavy action and well choreographed. The second movie is more about the background story between Bill and The Bride and less action but still fun to watch. I think Quentin is a big fan of Chinese Kung Fu and Japanese Samurai movies. Kill Bill has many moments called it back to classic Asian martial arts movies and I really like it.

Any fans of "Goldeneye (1995)"?

I think it was a very entertaining Bond movie. The story is very good. The theme song is great. It's a good balance between a 90's chessy action movie and a serious tone. I prefer this one to Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough Enough. I think Goldeneye is the best Pierce Brosnan's Bond film. The cast is excellent. The actress who played the Bond girl in this movie is very pretty. Sean Bean is a great villain. I really like him in this movie. He had a good reason why he went rogue and wanted to destroy Bond and England. This is the first movie that introduced us to Judi Dench the first female M in the franchise and her character is so iconic. The action scenes are very cool especially the tank chase scene. All the gadgets that Bond used in this movie were awesome especially the bomb pen and the laser watch. Brosnan is my favourite Bond actor. His audition impressed me very much. He is handsome and very good looking in a suit.

I never understand why many people dislike "Mission: Impossible 2 (2000)"? Do you like this movie? I think it was fun.

I own every Mission: Impossible movies in 4K steelbook and I've watched it all so many times. I rewatched MI-2 last night and still like this movie but many people dislike this one and ranked it at the bottom of the franchise.

I can say It is the weakest of the franchise compared to other MI movies but it's not that bad at all. Yeah, there are some moments that were ridiculous and laughable but overall the storytelling is good and the action scenes are so entertaining especially the motorcycle chase scene and the hand to hand fight scene on the beach was so cool. I like the plot about the villain wanting to sell the cure by spreading the virus to people and Ethan Hunt has to stop them.

The soundtrack is awesome especially "Take A Look Around" by Limp Bizkit nailed it with the tone of this movie. The cast is great especially Tom Cruise of course, he is always great as Ethan Hunt. I think this is his best looking and very handsome in this movie. I don't mind about slow motion and doves flying everywhere because it's a John Woo movie and these are his signatures.

Don't mess with him. Your opinions about "John Wick (2014)"?

I'm a fan of this franchise but I can say the first movie is the best because it got emotional and did not go too far for the story and world building like the sequels. I think Kenau Reeves is very handsome and very charming in this role. I like him in Speed and The Matrix but when it comes to John Wick it feels so different and a very unique action movie. The story is very simple but impacts a lot to the audience. The point of the film It's not only killing a puppy and stealing his car that makes him mad but both are the last things that his lovely wife gave before her die. The soundtrack is awesome. The action scenes are well made. It is not a big budget movie at all but how they crafted those scenes very impressed me. The nightclub shootout scene is iconic and I really like every weapon that John Wick used in this movie. I think John Wick is the first movie that introduced me to "Gun Fu" (gun + close quarter combat fighting style.) and I really like it.

Do you agreed "Heat (1995)" has the best and realistic shootout scene ever filmed?

I love Michael Mann films. I think he did so many great movies back then especially Heat is considered one of the best crime drama movies with an amazing cast. The highlight of this movie is the bank robbery scene. I never saw a shootout scene look so real and very intense like this before. The effect in every gun sounds so real and very loud. All the actors in this movie were trained by Ex-SAS. You can see the actors in this movie used firearms so well done. How they hold guns and reload looks amazing. The moment when Val Kilmer reloaded the magazine is so professional.

Liam Neeson's "Taken (2008)" came out of nowhere but later on this movie become a big hit. Do you like this movie?

"I don't know who you are." If you don't let my daughter go". "I will find you and I will kill you."

I've been a fan of Liam Neeson since Schindler's List. I think he is a great drama actor but the role in Taken changed his career. He becomes an action star at age 56. I saw his interview and he said most stunts and action scenes in the first Taken movie he played it by himself. Liam thought Taken was like the B movie, straight to home video. He just wants to play action so that it but who knows later on after people saw this movie it becomes a big hit.

I like the plot. It is so simple but it could happen in real life. A father goes to another country to find and help his daughter. I also like most movies that take place in Paris. I think Liam Neeson was so badass in this movie. His character is basically "Jason Bourne" in the older version. I mean he is good in martial arts and gunplay because he is an Ex-CIA agent but he is very intelligent too. He always has a plan to do something. I really like the part where he tracks down the bad guys step by step before killing them.

"Casino Royale (2006)" is one of the best Bond movies and it's one of the best action movies ever made.

I've seen it so many times since it came out in 2006. I grew up watching Daniel Craig's Bond films. I own the DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K. I really like the tone of this movie. I changed everything about the franchise that people would expect.

I remembered back in 2005 to early 2006 Many people hated the idea that the studio cast Daniel Craig as Bond. He is not handsome, has blonde hair and blue eyes and he is not that tall enough like other Bond actors but after the movie came out I think he knocked out of the park. He can prove that he is one of the best Bonds and feel so new, different and bring the rawness to this character.

The action scenes are very entertaining especially the parkour chase scene. I don't want it stop. I watch this scene so many times and it's still hype. The hand to hand fight scenes are so brutal. I have never seen any Bond actor fighting look so real and feel pain like Daniel Craig. He did very well in fist fight.

Thanks to both The Bourne Identity and Batman Begins that comes to the changed action genre to realism. I think CR has influenced the DNA of both The Bourne Identity and Batman Begins. The cast in this movie is excellent especially Eva Green as Vesper Lynd and the villain played by Mads Mikkelsen. The story is very intense and very interesting.

I like the villain so much because he is not any type of Bond villain that I saw before. He doesn't have an island or nuclear weapon. He is just a banker who fucked up and have to pay the money back to the terrorist. The poker game scene is well made and very intense.

Your opinions on "The Bourne Identity (2002)"?

I think this movie still holds up 'til these days. I like spy action thriller movies and I think one of the best of that genre is The Bourne Identity. I prefer Jason Bourne to James Bond. I think without this movie we might not have "Casino Royale" and "Batman Begins" because I felt like both movies are influenced by Jason Bourne in many aspects.

Throwback in 2002 we've got three spy action movies including 007 Die Another Day, Vin Diesel's xXx and The Bourne Identity. I've seen it all and I think Die Another Day is a big budget movie but it is done very poorly. This is the worst Bond movie ever made, it was so silly. xXx was a dumb fun movie, it's like a parody of James Bond but it's forgettable and unrealistic at all.

The Bourne Identity is a mid budget movie but it changed the whole thing for me. It's very grounded and looks realistic. The story is very interesting about a badass amnesia assassin trying to find out his true identity through Europe while the CIA wants to take him down. The cast is excellent. I like Chris Cooper and Brian Cox in this movie. Both were great as the villains. At that time people didn't like the idea that cast Matt Damon in an action role because he is a drama actor and never done the action before but after seeing this movie he can prove that he can do it very well in this role.

I think the story is very intense and the action is amazing too. The car chase through Paris is so exciting and the hand to hand fight scene is well choreographed and looks badass. I think the director Doug Liman is one of the best action directors and most of his movies are very entertaining. He did not use the shaky cam like Paul Greengrass in the later sequels. You can see in the action scenes the camera is always in the wide shot. I prefer his style to Paul Greengrass. I think Paul is a great director but sometimes his shaky cam style is hard to see what's happening in the action scenes.

I saw it only once with my dad. I can't remember that much but I really like this movie. They don't make movies like this these days. Can I say this movie is an action? I don't know but the action scenes are so awesome and very raw. I like all the cast. They look like real barbarians. Mel Gibson is a fantastic diector. He crafted those action scenes very well. I felt like I saw the real life story of two tribes that are hunting and killing each other. This movie has no guns or explosions but I really like the kind of rawness in action scenes. They are fighting with only knives and bows but are very intense.

I think it's one of the best and very underrated Spielberg films. He did two movies with Tom Cruise and I love both Minority Report and War Of The Worlds. I think the story is very interesting about how cops in the future have a system that can stop the crime and arrest the suspect before it happens. The cast is great and the score is fantastic. For the first time I watched I didn't like it as much because the story is a bit confusing and hard to follow but I enjoyed the action and suspense. I like the tone of the movie. Second time watching I pay attention more and I really like the story and how intense it was. This movie has vibes from The Fugitive and Blade Runner. I like the foot chase scene in the middle of the movie It was awesome. Colin Farrell was great in this movie too.

u/Kevin_Thailand_2543 — 8 days ago

Last night I rewatched this movie again and I feel the same. The first half of the movie is so good but the last half act ruined it. I think Gerard Butler should win. He lost everything and the lawyer doesn't do anything to bring justice to him and his family. He deserves to pay back those people. I don't like Jamie Foxx character in this movie. I mean he is great but his character is so annoying and try to be a hero but doesn't do anything to help Gerard at all. I think Gerard Butler in this movie is so scary. He is a mastermind. He killed so many people in such different ways. His plan is so smart to take down those people one by one.

This guy never stops making great movies. He is planning to do movies until he is 100 years old like he said for sure. I see a lot of news about his upcoming movies including Top Gun 3, Days Of Thunder 2, More than 5 projects with McQ and Edge Of Tomorrow 2. What do you think about that? Are you excited about Edge Of Tomorrow 2?

u/Kevin_Thailand_2543 — 9 days ago

I watched this movie so many times. I never have a chance to visit Scotland but I learned European history in high school. My parents like to watch history and war movies so I grew up watching those types of movies. I like to study both Asian and European histories. Braveheart is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Mel Gibson is outstanding as an actor and director. The cinematography in this movie is gorgeous. The soundtrack is good. The battle scenes are so intense and brutal. Mel Gibson did two movies where he fought against the British including this one and The Patriot and both are great movies.

u/Kevin_Thailand_2543 — 10 days ago

I personally think this movie is great but It's not a strong movie from Tom Cruise. It got vibes from True Lies and Mr. & Mrs. Smith about a couple got a spy mission to save the world. I think Cruise and Diaz had a great chemistry together. Diaz is so hilarious and very sexy. The story is just okay for me, nothing special but I like the comedy and action scenes. The final motorcycle chase scene is really fun. The shootout and fight are awesome. I think this movie is a good parody of Mission: Impossible. I mean Cruise in this movie is basiclly Ethan Hunt but in the way of comedy. I wish they would make the sequel.

u/Kevin_Thailand_2543 — 10 days ago

I'm not a big fan of Ben Affleck at all, I saw a few of his movies but I like him since he becomes a director. His movies are great. Not a big budget movie at all but the story, dialogue and how he created scenes very impressed me. I think The Town is an example of how to make a good crime drama movie. All characters had the motivation and reason why they have to do those things. The cast is amazing especially Jeremy Renner, his performance is outstanding. I never saw him play the role like this before. He is always angry and ruthless. The action scenes are not that much in this movie but I like every robbery and shootout scene especially in the middle of a movie where they dressed up in the nun and robbed the truck.

u/Kevin_Thailand_2543 — 10 days ago

I watched it for the first time a couple years ago and fell in love with this movie. I own it in 4K. I'm not a fan of Stallone but like some of his classic movies such as Rocky and First Blood and I think Cliffhanger is another great film. I think the plot is similar to Die Hard but it changed location from close building to the mountain and Stallone in this movie is not a type of Rambo. He is just a rescue team guy. He can fight but not that great. I like all the bad guys especially John Lithgow. His character is so scary. I'm afraid of heights and I think this movie did it very well in the action scenes when Stallone was hanging on top of the mountain or the scene where the villain blew up the bridge and he had to jump off to another cliff.
