We have been going on dates together for around 2-3 months and she recently hinted at me that we should make it official so I have booked a restaurant and a bouquet of flowers on a planned dinner date.

When should I actually ask her to be my girlfriend and make it official? Is it before, during, or after dinner? In my opinion, the best time would be a walk to a park or a memorable spot after dinner and then find a more private spot where I would finally ask her to be my girlfriend. But what if it is raining on that day?

I also hear some people said to do it before dinner to break away the nervousness and then make the dinner memorable.

Any suggestions? This is my first time asking someone to be my girlfriend
