Dad is retired, the type of person who doesn't wait to buy something he wants/needs and typically not a big sharer on what he's "eyeing".

His time is spent sailing, golfing, walking the dog, spending time with the grandkids (all very young), traveling, fair weather sports fandom and handy work (garage shelves, bathroom remodel, accent walls, etc...).

We've typically done one bigger gift from the whole family, but that's challenging to at every exchange.
