Solo iOS developer here. Built GameDay Music specifically to address some gaps in current apps.

A few things this sub might find useful:

•	Players update their own walk-up songs — players (or parents) can change their walk-up or pitching song from their own device, and it syncs straight back to the team’s app. You don’t have to chase anyone down or rebuild the playlist before every game.

•	AI voice intros — real-sounding “Now batting, number 12…” and “In the circle, number 7…” announcements.

•	Smart start times — every song defaults to the drop or hook, not the 20-second intro.

•	Practice mode — run drills with timers.. also

gives music suggestions if you’re struggling what to add

•	Slick interface — tappable buttons for between-inning hype, sound effects, and break music. Fire them in 5–10 second intervals without fumbling.

•	Pre-curated softball playlists if you’re starting from scratch.

Free to try on iOS/iPadOS. Looking for honest feedback from coaches, players, team parents, etc — what’s missing?

Mods, happy to take this down if it’s not the right fit — figured this sub would have the most useful feedback.

Solo developer here. Been running too many games and fumbling on my phone to get everyone’s walk ups in order and scrolling to the part they want to hear... so I built GameDay Music for iOS and iPadOS to actually fix it.

What it does for baseball specifically:

Practice mode — run practice with timed drills.. runs music then a buzzer or sound effect and next song for the next drill (ex: 60 second drills)

Auto-updating walk-up and pitching songs — text or email players/parents to pick a new song and it auto updates in the app. Nothing you need to do.

AI voice intros — real-sounding “Now batting, number 12, Jake Martinez” and “On the mound, number 7…” announcements.

Smart start times — every song defaults to the drop or hook, not the 20-second intro.

Slick interface — tappable action buttons for between-innings music, hype clips, and sound effects you can fire in 5–10 second intervals without fumbling.

Pre-curated baseball playlists so you’re not starting from scratch.

Free to try, paid tiers if you’re running multiple teams but it’s very low cost. Just looking for honest feedback from the people who’d actually use it — coaches, team parents, association folks. What’s missing? What would make this a no-brainer for your league?

Mods, happy to take this down if it’s not the right vibe — figured this sub would have the most useful feedback.

Solo developer here. I kept hearing from coaches and team managers that running game-day audio was a mess — fumbling with playlists, songs starting from the 20-second intro, no easy way to fire off a goal horn between shifts. So I built GameDay Music for iOS and iPadOS to actually solve it.

What it does:

• Action buttons — tap to instantly fire goal horns, power play hype, PK anthems, intermission music. Built to chain in 5–10 second intervals so you can keep up with game flow without fumbling.

• Pre-curated hockey playlists so a new coach or team manager isn’t starting from a blank screen the night before a tournament.

• Smart start times — every song defaults to the drop or hook, not the boring intro. No more dead air.

• AI player intros for starting lineups (real-sounding voices, not robotic).

• Goal scoring songs (and player annoucements) per player, crowd song requests, and an Event Mode for tournaments.

• Covers 10+ sports too if your players do more than one.

Free to try with paid tiers if you’re running multiple teams. Just looking for honest feedback from the people who’d actually use it — coaches, team managers, rink ops. What’s missing? What would make this a no-brainer? Happy to keep developing this just need more ideas to bring to life.
