Hi everyone,

We’re looking for recommendations for a convertible car seat that works from birth in a 2010 Toyota Corolla. We don’t want to use an infant seat, so this would be our only car seat.

We’re especially looking for something:

• Safe from birth with extended rear-facing
• Compact enough for a smaller sedan
• Comfortable for long-term use
• Easy to clean

We’re currently considering the Britax Poplar S and the Joie Chili Spin 360, has anyone used these seats in a Toyota Corolla or similar compact car? Any other recommendations that worked well for you from birth with extended rear-facing?

We really liked the Cybex Calypso 360, but I don't think it will fit well in our car, same thing with the Britax One4Life Slim.
