Back during the pandemic I bought a mk3s and did some printing.
Sure, it was fun, but coming downstairs 10 hours into a print to find a big burnt blob had wrecked my thing got really old. Too fiddly and stressful.
After putting it away after it got a "permanent" clog, I finally pulled it out at my kids insistence and gave it a good cleaning. Lots more YouTube videos now on fixing things.
Holy cow, the heatbox was loose, the nozzle was fully tight against it, and the heatsink spun freely. That can't be right! was it always like this?!
After a couple of tries and prints I actually have it put together properly now. No leaks. no blobs. no strings. it just does it's thing over night.
I have it cranked up to 130% now and it's just effortless with pla..
Now I get why people love printing!
