Absolute desperation
I know pretty well there's no solution to this situation so this is like a venting post, but if there's anything I could do, I probably would try.
My mother gifted me a Kindle Matcha (KT6 iirc) the past year. I've saw too late I could jailbreak it when it actually updated to 5.19.X
Since then I put it on airplane mode, part bc battery saving, part of avoiding auto-updates. Well, it was just one second while fighting against the bug of duplicated notes on MyClippings, synchronizing, and the Kindle auto updated to 5.19.0.3
I already know there's no jailbreak solution, only send it to Amazon and pray to receive one on an older version. But it's a gift, and I could wait to the next jailbreak! Except for two things that make me unable to read: highlighting update with the weird dots and they didn't fix the bug that duplicates the entries on MyClippings
Specially the highlighting part got me on my nerves, there's not anything I could do? Not even with command line or something similar to ADB? I already searched through this sub, other sites, xda, kindlemodding, everything. I'm pretty sad because I was being able to read again and all of this, discourage me a lot.
