Am I in a nightmare? Or is this a bad prank?
$2.78 for a 35 mile trip, that took over an hour just to deliver ONE WAY!! First off, this trip popped up as an add-on for an extra $12, and showed as + 8.8 miles, so I accepted it. When I picked up the order from the restaurant, it told me that the customer was over 30 miles away!
I immediately called support and told them the problem. I told them that the pay rate was not adequate for the mileage and time this delivery required.They insisted that I complete the order and said that they couldn’t do anything about the compensation while the trip was still ongoing.
I begrudgingly drove an hour into another state, delivered the food, and headed back home. I called Support right back and conveniently couldn’t get a real person to answer. So I used the chat feature and the next representative told me that they are unable to make any adjustments to my pay, because I accepted it for a specific rate. I’m beyond pissed. I drive a truck that gets 16 mpg on a good day, and things like this make me want to quit
