Me and my boyfriend started dating since mid 2023. Lately he likes to watch short drama on tiktok. Every night when we are on FaceTime he was always watching dramas (we do call everyday when it was near bedtime since we didn't live together) but that doesn't bother me much (for long). Last week we were on FaceTime and I was curious about what he was doing staring at his phone so attentively. The conversation goes like this:
Me: What are you doing?
Him: Playing on my phone.
Me: Doing what on your phone?
Him: Watching YouTube.
Me: Watching what on YouTube?
Him: Whatever's coming up.
Me: Like what?
Then after that he was visually getting angry and said "Don't ask so many questions". Then I explained that I just wanted to know and he calms down (he isn't someone who uses violence). After that he said he was sleepy and wanted to sleep so we said goodnights. He wasn't asleep, he was watching dramas until 4am.
Now today, we were face-timing like usual and I guess he was watching dramas so I let him. Near bedtime I was getting ready to wind down and I said let's have a chitchat, he said that he was sleepy. So I questioned him if he was really going to sleep or just continue to watch dramas, he said that he was going to sleep since tomorrow is Monday and we had morning lectures. We said goodnight, and I wasn't asleep I was messaging my friend on messenger. He was active on messenger so I messaged him "why aren't you sleeping yet?" He said "I'm watching dramas". I don't know why but I lost it, I said "why is the dramas so important that you need to hang up just to watch them? Is that more important than me? Your girlfriend?" He said "I am sleeping or not that's not a problem" then I said "Its like you choose the drama and not me." He said "I want to relax, I don't want to talk to anyone." Finally I said "Then go ahead." Am i too much?
