Hello all!

I have been renting a house that I love but hate the backyard which is basically just a dirt lot. I am wanting advice for what to do with the backyard, especially since I am a renter and don’t want to put a whole bunch of money into it. I tried to grow grass (as you might be able to tell) but it grew patchy and ugly. I’m in Arizona and we are about to enter into our extreme temperatures. Any suggestions for a low-cost idea to make my rented backyard easier on the eyes are welcome :)
