Let me start by saying I’m only at 23 hours so far. SUPER beginner. A dear friend of mine is from Venezuela and when she’s wound up posts videos of herself speaking in her native language. Today with the tiny bit I just realized I comprehend and her physical movements I was able to understand that she’s going through a health challenge and is trying to change what she eats! For the first time I didn’t have to just call her to check on her! I still called but she was floored I got the gist of it! There was a lot I had no clue what she was saying but I’m so proud I could do what I did with her speaking as quickly as she does!
