So I started a new job recently, and linked my PayPal debit card and checking account to my Target card. Ever since then (it’s been about 2 weeks) I’ve been getting regular alerts that reads “We noticed your address on file doesn’t match the one with the seller. Update it now.”
My address has not changed in *17 years*. I moved to my current address when I was 14 and have lived there since. The address on file with *both* PayPal and my Target card are the same… because I have no other address. I called in yesterday to talk with an agent, and the young guy I spoke to said there was a bug in the system and that he’d fix it. Took a very short amount of time and he told me that all was good and I shouldn’t be seeing the bug anymore. Well. I just got an alert again that says my address is wrong and to fix it.
Is anyone else dealing with this? And if so, has there been any *real* fix for it? Again, my address on file with both companies is one and the same, so I don’t know why it’s freaking out and telling me that it’s wrong when it isn’t.
Edit: so apparently the “wrong” address on file was for my Apple Cash card on my phone. Either way, it’s the same address.
