I bought gta on steam , and i need to link it to a rockstar acount.

i already have an account but i gave it to my wifes brother. if i link my steam account to it will it make a problem for him and his saves ?

for two days im not able to create a new account ..

if i want to log into my exisiting account it works but it warns me about linking my steam to the account which as i mentioned i don't own it anymore.
