Dd took me to the cleaners with a glitched add on

I was picking up an order at five guys as I pulled in I get an add on. It says $15.25 +2 miles so of course I’m taking that without thinking twice.

Soon as I accepted it the app started glitching out. It took me to the multiple delivery screen but it only had my original order on it. Tapping anywhere on the screen would not do anything so I closed and reopened the app. It still took me to the same screen showing my original order.

I was able to tap at the top left this time and get to display both pickups with deliveries. I had to tap on the add on and jump to task and mark ‘arrived at store’. Then it finally took me to the multiple delivery screen and correctly showed both.

I dropped off the first order I originally was scheduled for and guess what happens after I did? 10.3 miles to the next delivery……it said it was +2 miles….

I sucked it up and drove the 10.3 nearly to two delivery zones over and after I dropped it off? It paid $13….not the $15.25 it originally said…..

Not worth calling doordash support over $2 but damn they got me on this one it was nearly a 20 mile round trip back to my original zone….

Haven’t dashed in 6 months as I work full time…had a day off decided to see how it’s going….back to another extended break

Gas is $4.89 here and customers still think $2-$3 as a tip for a 10-15 minute drive is sufficient. No thanks.

Can’t get MIL readiness after 350 miles and 20+ drive cycles with no CEL

2014 sonic 1.4

All tests have been in a pass and ready state besides evap and it just won’t test…I’ve tried everything…idle for 5 mins then drive…idle for 10 mins then drive….ive driven over 350 miles mixed highway, back roads you name it….no CEL and using live data all the monitors are in a passing state but the evap test still won’t run…. I have to pass emissions in 2 weeks and kind of running out of time

Purge valve is brand new gm part

Live data shows good evap number and working purge

About a month and a half ago, I started noticing some lag when accelerating. The car just didn’t want to pick up speed at higher RPMs. No CEL at first, so I started troubleshooting. When I gave it more throttle, it finally threw a P0299 code. This led me down a long rabbit hole of replacing parts. Here’s everything I’ve done so far:

  • Replaced valve cover
  • Replaced intake manifold
  • Replaced PCV hose
  • Replaced both VVT solenoids
  • Replaced purge valve / canister
  • Replaced turbo bypass solenoid
  • Cleaned MAF and MAP sensors
  • Performed a smoke test (no leaks found)
  • Inspected turbo coolant and oil lines (no leaks)
  • Checked wastegate – appears properly preloaded with no play when attached. When detached, the flapper has some free play and makes a slight clicking noise when moved.

After replacing the entire PCV system, here’s what changed.

What improved:

  • Idle is much smoother and stable (600-700 RPM with very little needle movement)
  • Whining/rattling/squealing noise from the engine is completely gone
  • Overall drivability is noticeably smoother

What’s still happening:

  • Random air/fuel spikes (going as lean as -20 or as rich as +20)
  • Occasional engine bogging at idle — especially at stop lights or when shifting into Drive/Reverse (foot on brake, no throttle). It doesn’t happen every time, but it used to be more frequent before fixing the PCV system. Pressing the gas pedal immediately resolves the shaking.
  • Noticeable oil residue on the lower cold side charge pipe around the clamp connecting the throttle body hose to the lower plastic charge pipe

I’m at the point where I’m about to replace the turbo, but I’m stumped on the random engine bogging. The smoke test showed no vacuum leaks. Could a partially clogged exhaust or catalytic converter cause this? Wouldn’t I get a cat efficiency code (P0420)? All the O2 sensor tests on my scanner are passing and look with expected range. Any ideas on what to check next? Thanks in advance!

I just replaced the intake manifold and the PCV valve tubing. It has a brand new turbo on it. It started underboosting recently which led me down this rabbit hole. So I can rule out the PCV checks there? Does this mean I should replace my valve cover? When engine is running I place my thumb over the PCV hole and it does nothing (no suction or air coming out) but when I remove the oil cap it pushes out tons of air and starts bogging and shaking.

IS there another reason though? Or just the valve cover needs to be replaced. (OE intake manifold failed so I'm assuming it ruined the valve cover when it went)

So I just replaced my intake manifold and on the bottom of the intake it has the 55574902 Bypass valve. The hoses seemed to be semi dry rotted but I have no way of telling if theyre good or not but I went ahead and put it on the new intake and ran the same hoses.

I'm still having underboost issue and I've replace the full PCV system which leads me to both of the sensors mentioned. Car has a lot of miles and aside from what I've replaced recently....all are factory sensors

The one thats on the turbo below the wastegate is the 55587751 wastegate regulator valve and I'm considering changing that because it could be another failure point for under boosting.

Here's where I'm stumped....the parts keep coming back with the same names and part numbers online and I cant seem to find the 55574902 Bypass valve with hoses. Nor can I find the hoses separately but I believe they're the same hoses (if the dryrotted hose is leaking).

They're both different sensors right? I'm not completely losing my mind because the aftermarket options keep coming back as a OE fit for BOTH parts....but GM genuine has them separated (what I would buy).

Also, if I'm getting a constant underboost....with zero other symptoms or codes....before replacing my turbo (wastegate was replaced and turbo arm has ZERO play)....which of the 2 sensors would most likely be the culprit? Since one controls intake and one controls exhaust?
