Hi, I'm using a custom built PC on Windows 11. I built it myself so it is updated/upgraded regularly.
Months ago I experienced a strange issue with Discord where notifications would cause Discord to lockup, could only resolve by ending the task.
After going down rabbit holes I found this post
Summary of that is that there was some issue with the a windows update, and the windows push notification service, amongst some other bits.
From that I saw people having issues with the Windows Clock, I didnt really use that so didnt notice, but I too am having the same issue. The clock widget is often just grey, no clock.
This now seems to be affecting Chrome, im assuming there is some weird link here because when Chrome goes grey and doesn't work, the clock is also broken. I cant say if discord is because disabling notifications fixed the crashing.
Ive tried reinstalling Chrome, the clock widget and following all the advice in the thread above but Im continuing to have this and im completely lost. Would appreciate any advice or suggestions.
