As my post says, should I apply?

I’ve been banking with Golden 1 for years (15+) and I got this notification via the app. Granted I am still working on my credit (currently at 645 vantage, 625 FICO)… I have some charge offs that I’m working on and have been way better at my utilization. I don’t want to get excited and just pull the trigger but I want a stable CC (hopefully at least $1000) that I can use everyday to help further my credit journey.
If anyone has this card, what is the ideal report that you should have for applying? Is G1 a good lender to go through for my situation?

TIA

Currently working on rebuilding. Yes, I KNOW I screwed myself by having 2 charge off accounts, however I just paid them off after 3yrs on my credit.
Currently sitting at around 640 (they haven’t fell off my report, still within 30days of pay off). I’m wanting to get a CC strictly for flights - either the Venture One or Southwest card. Is this easily attainable, given that my score should go up significantly after the charged off accounts are removed? Or is this wishful thinking?

Any tips on what I could next to better my odds overall, and not fall back into a CC with only $300 limit?
