Tekken Revolution 2.0

Is anyone going to try out that new unofficial fan-made adaptation for Tekken Revolution 2.0? The guy behind the project is removing invincible moves, it's going to have all characters unlocked, it's going to have online play, and a stage select (which was lacking in the original). You won't need tickets or tokens to play as you did when the game initially came out.

It's basically the closest thing to a recent Tekken that plays like old school Tekken. It's Tekken 7 without rage arts, armor moves, rage attack, etc. No heat. Just straight up Tekken. I think this could be cool.

There's not going to be any ranking system when it first comes out, so even if there's 50 players online, they'll all be matched up with each other. This was done just in case there's not enough players online, but he does point out that if there's a big enough player base, he'll consider adding a ranking system. It's scheduled to drop on May 22, 2026.

Britt Hartley's No Nonsense Spirituality

Curious to people's thoughts on this female atheist by the name of Britt Hartley that brands herself as "No Nonsense Spirituality." She recently responded to a video that Matt Dillahunty made criticizing the term spirituality, labeling it as "nonsense."

Of course, she defends the term spirituality as her entire website sort of depends on it, she offers "courses in mysticism," "religious deconstruction," "recovering from nihilism," "Jungian archetypes," and more along those type of themes.

She makes the argument in the response that secularists don't really have a sort of spiritual vocabulary to speak about experiences that are often associated with religious traditions. And as a result, she sees this as a failure because it caused Ayaan Hirsi Ali, an atheist, to return to religion to deal with her internal friction.

Matt Dillahunty believes the term to be so ambiguously defined that it draws charlatans to use it to able to swindle people financially, like the ersatz guru or the faux-shaman, and he does take a jab at Hartley accusing her of engaging in the same type of deception.

Hartley responds with peer-reviewed citations claiming that spirituality is recognized within modern neuroscience in that it cause these changes in behavior in people that can be measured in these type of studies.

It's definitely a topic that's caught my attention, and I've written a much more in-depth post on it here, if anyone's interested, but I really am interested in others' thoughts on this topic.

I completely forgot about this clip. XD I caught Aris on TTT2 playing in rank online before he was going to physically attend a tournament for the game, and he got his shit artificially pushed in. I mean, I beat his ass pretty bad. 😅

I had no idea he was running a stream, and someone clipped where he started going off on me telling me stuff like if he ever saw me irl, he'd twist my ass into a trashcan. It was too funny. I wanted to share. I time-stamped it, but the portion before my clip is pretty funny, too.
