Did they make quests harder in the DLC? im pretty early in the game (just got equites) and the NPCs are demanding insane ammounts of goods. Right now they ask me for 536 tons of sheep, and earlier when i was still at early pleb progression they already wanted 170 tons of pigs.

I feel like multiple full ships worth of one good is a bit overkill, especially when island stocks are only 150.

Why are most common specialists so incredibly underwhelming?

By the time you unlock officia most affordable specialists are pretty useless and definitely not worth A) the investment and upkeep of an officium B) not worth it to give up even a single area bonus.

10% production bonus is just laughably bad. I don’t see a reason why low level production chains like ropemakers can’t get at least 30% bonus to make it somewhat appealing to build an officium before patricians.
